Quick, easy, and delicious chicken wing wraps perfect for a weeknight meal or a fun game-day snack.
Ingredients
* 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 tsp paprika
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* 1 tsp onion powder
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/4 tsp black pepper
* 1/2 cup milk or buttermilk
* Vegetable oil, for frying
* 1/2 cup hot sauce
* 4 tbsp butter, melted
* 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
* 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
* 1/2 tsp garlic powder
* Large flour tortillas
* Shredded lettuce
* Diced tomatoes
* Crumbled blue cheese or ranch dressing
* Chopped celery (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- 2. Combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- 3. Dip chicken in milk/buttermilk, then dredge in flour mixture.
- 4. Fry, bake (400°F for 20-25 minutes), or air fry (400°F for 15-20 minutes) chicken until crispy.
- 5. Combine hot sauce, butter, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder in a saucepan.
- 6. Simmer sauce for 5 minutes (optional).
- 7. Warm tortillas.
- 8. Spread dressing on tortillas, add chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, blue cheese/ranch, and celery (optional).
- 9. Fold tortilla sides inwards and roll tightly.
Notes
Double-bread chicken for extra crispiness. Make sauce ahead of time. Use dry lettuce and tomatoes to prevent soggy wraps. Try BBQ, teriyaki, or sweet chili sauce. Substitute chicken with cauliflower or tofu for vegetarian options. Add other toppings as desired. Serve with fries, onion rings, or salad. Offer extra sauce for dipping.
